Comment Spam

We've had a deluge of comments lately with the subject "people", which are nothing but spam ads. I just changed the site so that they will now only be posted with our approval. With this change, you won't immediately see your comment after you hit the "submit" button. It will show up once one of us okays it. It's a pain, but it's better than eliminating comments altogether.

Just Spam. Also just kidding. I completely agree about your decision to prevent Spam Ads. I'm surprised they would leave Spam Ads on a person's site like this. How irritating! Are you going to California?

In explanation of the "going to California" thing, I was offered a temporary field assignment in Burbank last week. To make a long story short, I've decided not to accept.

Considering California is experiencing a pretty bad heat wave right now probably a good decision not to go - but, how long would the "field assignment" have been? If they offer again in the middle of winter though it's going to hard to turn down a trip to California!
