We hope everybody had a good Easter. Ours was a busy one. We went first to the Breen Easter for dinner and the annual egg hunt. Fun was had by all, since the kids decided they would re-hide the eggs for the adults to find. HUGOMORE42 Afterward, we went to the combined Wever Easter and birthday party for my aunt Lori. We missed dinner, but made it in time for a very impressively decorated cake.
I am finally getting around to posting pictures from Christmas. We spent Christmas Eve going between parties at Chase's grandpa's house and my dad's house. Thankfully, they live across the street from each other. We spent Christmas day at my mom's house and Chase's parents' house. Christmas break made me look forward to summer vacation. As usual, I was not ready to go back to work. Chase did not get much of a break since he was asked to work over Christmas.
We went to my dad's house on Halloween to celebrate Benny (10/31), Jackie (11/1), and Angie's (11/2) birthdays. Ryan, Aaron, and Dylan went trick or treating dressed as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and Yoda. Unfortunately, we did not take any pictures. We're not sure if we got any trick or treaters at our house, but I really doubt it since we live so far out in the boonies. HUGOMORE42 We did take pictures at our party on November 3.
We survived our Christmas parties...barely. Norovirus (stomach flu) spread through my family pretty quickly. I have not caught it yet, but Chase was not so lucky. We got a lot of things for our house. There were a lot of things we didn't have and have never needed until now like rakes, shovels, water hoses, the list goes on! We also got some fun things like a porch swing, a bird feeder, a flag pole, and a very cool door bell that you can download MP3s onto.
